About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Operations Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our finance and operations departments. You will not just maintain accounts but will actively build and manage systems to ensure every order is executed smoothly, profitably, and without any financial risks. If you are a process-driven individual who understands the "Order-to-Cash" cycle, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Order Financial Checks: Evaluate and approve new orders by checking client credit limits, payment history, and finalizing payment terms before execution.
Costing & Margin Analysis: Calculate the estimated costs (material, labor, overheads) for each order to ensure healthy profit margins before the work begins.
System & Process Development: Create and implement effective checklists, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and workflows to streamline order execution from start to finish.
Budget Tracking: Monitor expenses at every stage of the order fulfillment process to prevent budget overruns and ensure financial discipline.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with the sales, production, and execution teams to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery.
Invoicing & Cash Flow Management: Oversee accurate and timely billing upon delivery, manage professional payment follow-ups, and generate weekly cash flow reports.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
[1 to 3] years of proven experience in commercial operations, finance, or order management.
Strong hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, ERP, Zoho, etc.) and advanced MS Excel.
Excellent analytical skills with a deep understanding of costing, profitability, and financial risk management.
A system-driven mindset with the ability to build processes from scratch.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across different departments.
