We are looking for an experienced CAD Department Head who can build, train, and lead a high-performing jewelry CAD team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in jewelry CAD designing, particularly in Matrix 9, along with proven experience in managing designers, setting workflows, and ensuring production-ready CADs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the Jewelry CAD Department.
- Recruit, train, and mentor CAD designers.
- Develop CAD SOPs, quality standards, and workflows.
- Assign projects and manage daily CAD operations.
- Review and approve CAD files before production.
- Ensure all CADs are technically correct and manufacturing-friendly.
- Coordinate with sales, production, and merchandising teams.
- Handle complex custom jewelry and export market projects.
- Improve CAD turnaround time, accuracy, and department efficiency.
- Establish KPIs and performance tracking systems for the CAD team.
Mandatory Requirements
✅ Minimum 7 years of Jewelry CAD experience.
✅ Strong hands-on experience in Matrix 9 (Mandatory).
✅ Experience in Rhino and MatrixGold will be an added advantage.
✅ Proven experience in building and managing a team of CAD designers.
✅ Strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes.
✅ Ability to train and develop junior designers.
✅ Experience in custom jewelry and international market requirements.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
