We build long-endurance, fixed-wing UAVs and run a continuous flight-test campaign. Every sortie generates flight data that feeds straight back into design, QC, and manufacturing, so the faster and more reliably we fly, the faster the aircraft gets better. We need a fixed-wing pilot who can operate autonomous sorties reliably, monitor autonomous missions, and recover the drone in case of a rescue. You'll perform flight operations targeting sustained flight hours across multiple airframes.
Conduct manual takeoffs, landings, and emergency recovery of fixed-wing UAVs
Plan, upload, and monitor autonomous missions in Mission Planner
Act as safety pilot during autonomous and VLOS sorties
Run detailed pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks on every sortie
Maintain accurate flight logs and incident reports, and surface issues that feed back into design and QC
Coordinate with the ground crew and with engineering and composites teams at the field site
Perform basic field troubleshooting of the UAV and ground control station, plus basic composite/airframe repairs
Operate in compliance with DGCA regulations and site-specific restrictions
Contribute to flight SOPs and operational workflows, and help train new pilots as the program scales
Demonstrable fixed-wing UAV flying experience (manual) - you can launch and land a fixed-wing aircraft reliably
Can recover the UAV in case of emergency
Willing to travel to and stay at field test sites
Autonomous fixed-wing mission experience – waypoints, loiter, complex flight patterns
DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate
Understanding of fixed-wing aerodynamics
Composite airframe handling and basic field repair
