A Crane Service Engineer is a specialized field operative responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various heavy lifting equipment. They perform preventive inspections, repair electrical and mechanical faults, and ensure safety standards are met at client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Assemble, align, and test new crane systems, ensuring they meet structural and regulatory requirements.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults (e.g., motor drive, hoist, and panel board issues).
- Breakdown Support: Respond to emergency site calls to minimize client equipment downtime and restore operations swiftly.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to ISO standards, OSHA, and local site discipline while utilizing required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Documentation & Consultation: Document faults, draft maintenance reports, and advise clients on necessary part replacements and repairs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience: Typically 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in material handling or industrial crane servicing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, handling diagnostic tools, and troubleshooting VFDs, contactors, and control wiring.
- Personal Attributes: Strong physical fitness for field-based roles and a willingness to travel to various project sites
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹36,889.90 per month
