Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Store & Inventory Manager to manage raw materials, components, packaging materials and finished goods at our Vasai factory. The person will be responsible for accurate stock management, material movement and coordination with Production, Purchase and Quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inward, storage, issue and outward of all materials.
- Maintain accurate stock of raw materials, electronic/electrical components, packaging materials and finished goods.
- Ensure proper GRN, material issue, stock transfer and dispatch documentation.
- Issue materials to the production/assembly line as per requirement.
- Maintain FIFO/FEFO and proper material identification/location.
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and highlight shortages/excess inventory.
- Control damaged, rejected, obsolete and non-moving stock.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, QC and Accounts teams.
- Maintain proper bin locations, labeling and material traceability.
- Ensure smooth inward and outward movement without production delays.
- Maintain inventory records in ERP/software/Excel.
- Manage store staff/helpers and ensure proper work allocation.
- Maintain 5S, safety and discipline in the store.
- Prepare inventory MIS, stock ageing and variance reports for management.
