Core Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Oversee the performance of network servers, mainframes, and computer systems to ensure high availability.
- Data Management: Perform regular data backups, maintain digital records, and ensure information integrity to prevent data loss.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, log, and resolve hardware malfunctions, software bugs, and network connectivity issues.
- Hardware Maintenance: Set up computing devices, clean peripherals (such as printers and scanners), and maintain an inventory of IT supplies.
- Batch Processing: Run scheduled computer processes, application updates, and system utilities according to business requirements.
- User Support: Provide technical assistance to in-house staff, troubleshoot minor programming or software issues, and answer system inquiries.
