Physics Teacher Job Description
We are searching for a dependable Physics teacher to join our faculty. The Physics teacher’s responsibilities include teaching students about fundamental principles of physics such as motion, energy, force, electricity, and waves, supervising laboratory investigations and experiments, developing rapport, and maintaining good relationships with students and parents. You should also attend ongoing education programs and strive to keep students engaged.
To be successful as a Physics teacher, you should demonstrate sound knowledge of physics and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and practical manner. Outstanding candidates are able to apply scientific principles to real-life situations and successfully teach students with different interests and aptitudes.
Physics Teacher Responsibilities:
- Teaching Physics to students from Grade 8 to Grade 11 in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Understanding the curriculum and developing schedules, lesson plans, and teaching methods that will help students cover the required content.
- Preparing and delivering lessons that are clear, engaging, and stimulating.
- Educating students on lab safety and ensuring all experiments are carried out responsibly.
- Setting up tests, assignments, experiments, and grading students fairly.
- Ensuring appropriate resources and consultation times are available to students.
- Mentoring and providing support to student teachers.
- Attending staff and parent meetings, conferences, workshops, and other continuing education programs.
- Informing and preparing students for science fairs and expos.
- Handling various administrative functions, including updating student records and maintaining laboratory equipment and resources.
- Ensuring a safe and healthy classroom environment where effective learning can take place.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹58,000.00 per month
