Job Title: Sales Engineer – Retrofit Solutions

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer – Retrofit to drive sales growth by identifying and developing retrofit opportunities for existing systems and equipment. The successful candidate will combine technical knowledge with strong interpersonal skills to recommend tailored solutions that improve performance, energy efficiency, and lifecycle value for clients’ existing installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop business opportunities for retrofit and upgrade solutions across existing client systems (e.g., HVAC, automation, mechanical systems, etc.)
- Evaluate existing installations and recommend modernization or performance enhancement options.
- Provide technical and commercial support during the sales process, including site surveys, solution development, and ROI analysis.
- Develop and deliver proposals, presentations, and quotations for retrofit solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure successful implementation of retrofit projects.
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Stay current with product updates, industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the retrofit business.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in retrofit or upgrade projects.
- Experience in HVAC, building systems, automation, energy solutions, or industrial equipment is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to assess complex systems.
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into value-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and relevant engineering software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of energy efficiency standards and rebate programs.
- Professional certifications (e.g., LEED, CEM, PMP) are a plus.
- Familiarity with BMS/BAS, HVAC systems, or industrial controls.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
