Job Description
We are looking for a Steel Engineer to support steel sourcing, supplier management, technical evaluation, and commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate steel grades, specifications, mill certificates, and quality documents.
- Identify and manage steel mills, suppliers, and processing partners.
- Support pricing, quotations, RFQs, negotiations, and sourcing activities.
- Monitor supplier quality, delivery, cost, and compliance.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and QA teams.
- Analyze steel market trends and sourcing costs.
- Maintain technical and commercial documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of steel grades and specifications.
- Understanding of ASTM, EN, ISO, DIN, JIS, or API standards.
- Ability to analyze mill test certificates and quality documents.
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
- Good communication, analytical, and MS Office skills.
- Experience in steel manufacturing, sourcing, trading, procurement, or technical sales preferred.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
