Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily operations at our manufacturing unit located in Chinniampalayam, Coimbatore. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in production processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage teams effectively to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day production activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
- Plan, schedule, and assign work to ensure optimal use of manpower and equipment
- Monitor workflow, identify production issues, and implement timely solutions
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of production data
- Train, guide, and evaluate production staff
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field (mandatory)
- Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Must reside near Chinniampalayam, Coimbatore
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes
- Familiarity with production planning and ERP systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
