Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Engineer to plan, coordinate, and monitor manufacturing activities to ensure timely production and dispatch. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, resource allocation, inter-departmental coordination, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily production activities as per production targets and dispatch commitments.
- Analyze and assist in production drawings received from the design team and allocate work efficiently across departments.
- Coordinate production activities between Laser Cutting, Bending, Fabrication, Buffing, Packing, and Dispatch teams.
- Ensure availability of sub-assemblies, raw materials, consumables, tools, and equipment required for production.
- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Maintain production records, job cards, work orders, and related documentation.
- Allocate manpower effectively and ensure optimum utilization of workforce and resources.
- Track daily production output and identify delays, bottlenecks, or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper labeling, traceability, and documentation of finished products.
- Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure on-time shipment of finished goods.
- Support continuous improvement, process optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication and coordination skills..
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–2 years of experience in Production, Manufacturing, or Production Planning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Pay: ₹216,000.36 - ₹285,000.16 per year
