Responsibilities
Design and implement secure and efficient microservices using Java and Spring Boot to support scalable business applications
Develop robust backend components that integrate with SQL Server to handle complex transactional and analytical workloads
Optimize database queries and schema structures in SQL Server to improve application performance and reliability
Implement clean code practices and reusable components in Java 8 and Java 17 to ensure maintainable and extensible services
Collaborate with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Create and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure microservices are stable reliable and regression free
Participate in code reviews to improve code quality share knowledge and align with enterprise development standards
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues by performing detailed root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes
Implement secure communication and configuration patterns for microservices to protect sensitive data and comply with company policies
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements to development workflows and automation practices
Document technical designs service contracts and deployment steps to support efficient onboarding and maintenance activities

Qualifications
Possess professional experience working with Java 8 and Java 17 for developing backend services in an enterprise environment
Demonstrate hands on experience with Spring Boot for building and configuring modular microservices based solutions
Show strong proficiency in SQL Server including query optimization indexing strategies and data modeling concepts
Apply knowledge of microservices patterns such as service decomposition resilience and observability in practical projects
Exhibit familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development practices suitable for hybrid work models
