- Providing specialized care: Handle premature or critically ill infants who may need ventilators, incubators, or IV therapy.
- Administering medications: Give prescribed drugs carefully, considering the infant’s tiny size and condition.
- Feeding support: Assist with bottle feeding, breastfeeding, or tube feeding depending on the baby’s ability.
- Operating medical equipment: Manage devices such as ventilators, CPAP machines, and infusion pumps.
- Infection control: Maintain strict hygiene to protect infants with weak immune systems.
