Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef with expertise in multi-cuisine gourmet preparation and fine-dining presentation. The candidate will ensure every dish reflects 5-star standards in taste, plating, and consistency, aligned with the brand’s luxury identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in designing and executing a premium multi-cuisine menu
- Prepare and supervise dishes across:
- Continental
- Italian
- Modern Indian (fusion where required)
- Light gourmet small plates
- Ensure 5-star level plating, portioning, and visual presentation
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and finishing across all outlets
- Oversee daily kitchen operations with precision, speed, and cleanliness
- Enforce strict food safety, hygiene, and SOP standards
- Manage inventory, procurement coordination, and wastage control
- Train and guide kitchen staff to maintain luxury service standards
- Coordinate with service team for timely and seamless execution
Requirements
- Proven experience as Sous Chef / Sr. CDP in a fine dining restaurant / 5-star hotel
- Strong command over multi-cuisine (Continental, Italian, Indian fusion)
- Exceptional skills in plating aesthetics and fine presentation
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, high-expectation luxury environment
- Strong leadership, discipline, and team management skills
- Impeccable grooming and professional conduct
