A Mechanical Incharge for earthwork sites is responsible for managing, maintaining, and deploying heavy earthmoving machinery (e.g., excavators, loaders, dozers). They ensure maximum equipment uptime, oversee operators, minimize operational delays, and ensure strict compliance with on-site health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. - Fleet Management: Monitor daily performance, fuel consumption, and utilization rates of earthmoving equipment to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Maintenance Operations: Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Resource Allocation: Assign operators and equipment to specific earthwork zones to match daily excavation or filling targets.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure all machinery meets local safety regulations, emissions standards, and site-specific HSE protocols.
- Spare Parts & Inventory: Coordinate with the site store to manage inventory for critical parts, lubricants, and hydraulic fluids.
- Team Supervision: Assign daily tasks, manage shift schedules, and train junior technicians.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Monitor and execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) routines to avoid breakdowns.
- Equipment Troubleshooting: Diagnose faults in rotating or static equipment, such as pumps, piping systems, and valves.
- Inventory Management: Oversee spare parts requirements, track inventory levels, and manage equipment storage.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce OSHA or regional health and safety regulations, including PTW (Permit to Work) systems during maintenance
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
