The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets. The role involves promoting the company’s packaging products and solutions to customers across industries such as food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, retail, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.
* Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance.
* Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
* Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
* Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with customers.
* Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
* Handle customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Attend industry exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events to generate business opportunities.
* Monitor sales KPIs and implement corrective actions when required.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sales practices.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
* 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in the packaging, printing, flexible packaging, corrugated boxes, labels, or industrial products industry.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Experience in B2B sales and key account management.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
* Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
