A Franchise Development Manager drives brand expansion by sourcing, vetting, and onboarding new franchise partners while negotiating agreements and supporting the initial store setup. They blend sharp sales acumen with financial analysis to scale the business network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Sales: Source high-net-worth investors and qualify prospects through targeted outreach, networking, and industry expos.
- Financial Profiling: Build and present business cases, project cost estimates, store ROI projections, and payback periods to investors.
- Market Expansion & Strategy: Analyze regional market trends and demographics to pinpoint high-potential locations for new outlets.
- Legal & Commercial Closure: Oversee lease evaluations, negotiate commercial terms, and manage the execution of Franchise Agreements.
- Onboarding & Launch Support: Coordinate with internal inventory, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth store setups and launch readiness.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in franchise sales, retail management, or multi-unit business expansion.
- Financial Acumen: Strong ability to calculate store economics (e.g., sales per sq. ft., gross margins, and ROI).
- Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills to close deals and manage stakeholder expectations
Standard Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently for site visits and investor meetings.
