JD – ISOC Operator/Supervisor
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ISOC.
2. Ensure that all ISOC operators are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties.
3. Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Team Management
1. Supervise and manage a team of ISOC operators.
2. Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to operators.
3. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to client.
Incident Response
1. Coordinate the ISOC's response to incidents, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed.
2. Activate emergency response plans as necessary.
3. Collaborate with incident commanders and other stakeholders to ensure effective incident management.
4. Follow the Escalation matrix.
Communication
1. Foster effective communication between the ISOC team, stakeholders and external agencies.
2. Ensure that all parties are informed and updated on situational developments.
Compliance and Procedures
1. Ensure that the ISOC operates in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and organizational policies.
2. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Training and Development
1. Develop and implement training programs for ISOC operators.
2. Ensure that operators are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively.
Technical Oversight
1. Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of ISOC systems and equipment.
2. Ensure that all technology is functioning correctly and is aligned with organizational goals.
3. Collaborate with authorized vendor to ensure effective technology management.
Reporting and Analytics
1. Develop and provide regular reports on ISOC operations and performance.
2. Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
3. Provide insights and recommendations to PS Management to inform decision-making.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
1. Response time to alarms and incidents.
2. Accuracy and completeness of data entry and reporting.
3. Compliance with organizational security policies and procedures.
4. Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
5. Participation in training and development programs.
