About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser to join our team. The role involves coordinating with design, production, and sales teams to ensure smooth execution of collections, order management, sampling, client coordination, and merchandising activities. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for fashion trends, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage ethnic & traditional wear product lines (sarees, suits, lehengas, kurtas)
- Track inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment
- Study sales data to identify bestselling styles and slow-moving products
- Work closely with the design and production teams for smooth collection launches
- Ensure products are displayed attractively and as per brand standards
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for on-time stock delivery
- Prepare weekly merchandising reports and MIS data
- Support the sales team with product knowledge and stock availability
Requirements:
- 1–4 years of experience in merchandising, inventory, or product planning (fashion/retail/apparel preferred)
- Good understanding of the ethnic & traditional Indian wear market
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and basic inventory tools
- Eye for fashion trends and customer buying behavior
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment
