General Crop Science is looking for a sincere, responsible and highly dedicated Accountant who believes in completing work on time and taking full ownership of assigned responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who does not require repeated reminders or follow-ups. Once a task is assigned, it should be tracked and completed independently within the required timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting accurately and keep accounts updated at all times.
- Bank reconciliation, party ledger reconciliation and account scrutiny.
- Purchase, sales, payment, receipt, journal and other accounting entries.
- Proper follow-up and closure of pending accounting matters.
- Maintain systematic records of receivables, payables and outstanding balances.
- Assist in GST, TDS and other routine statutory/accounting requirements.
- Work confidently on accounting software and Excel.
- Identify discrepancies proactively instead of waiting for them to be pointed out.
- Complete assigned tasks within deadlines without repeated follow-ups.
- Ensure routine work does not accumulate or remain pending.
- Maintain proper documentation and provide reports/MIS whenever required.
