Job Summary:
The Mechanical QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical components and products meet quality standards, industry regulations, and customer specifications. This role involves inspecting materials, performing tests, documenting findings, and collaborating with production teams to maintain product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspection & Testing:
ü Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical components and products.
ü Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to check dimensions and tolerances.
ü Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) and functional tests as required.
ü Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities in products.
ü Coordinate with production and dispatch the materials with proper reports.
2. Quality Assurance & Compliance:
ü Ensure adherence to quality standards such as ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant industry standards.
ü Verify compliance with engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
ü Maintain proper documentation of inspection results, test reports, and deviations.
3. Process Improvement:
ü Work closely with production teams to identify and address quality issues.
ü Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to minimize defects.
ü Assist in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
ü Prepare and maintain quality control records, inspection reports, and certificates.
ü Document any rework or rejection of materials and communicate findings to relevant departments.
ü Assist in audits and quality reviews.
5. Safety & Compliance:
ü Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
ü Report any unsafe conditions or potential risks to management.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years in quality control within the manufacturing industry.
Gross: 28K to 30K (negotiable)
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience with measurement tools and quality inspection techniques.
Knowledge of quality standards (ISO, ASME, ASTM).
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Quality Control (e.g., ASQ, NDT Level I/II) are a plus.
Experience in a specific manufacturing sector (e.g Sheetmetal) is advantageous.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
