Job Summary
The Production Chef is responsible for planning, preparing, and overseeing food production operations to ensure high-quality food preparation, consistency, hygiene, and cost efficiency. The role involves managing kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, controlling inventory, and ensuring timely production according to organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily food production activities and kitchen operations.
- Prepare and standardize recipes, menus, and portion sizes.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency in all prepared items.
- Monitor food preparation processes and maintain production schedules.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety in compliance with HACCP guidelines.
- Manage inventory, stock control, and procurement of kitchen supplies.
- Minimize food wastage and control food costs effectively.
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff and junior chefs.
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of kitchen equipment.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet catering and production requirements.
- Handle customer feedback and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in food production, kitchen operations, or catering services.
- Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene is preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
