Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor turning/lathe machines to manufacture components as per specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Set up machines, tools, and fixtures before starting production.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and dimensional requirements.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report any machine issues or breakdowns.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain production efficiency and product quality.
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Adhere to workplace safety procedures and company policies.
- Keep the work area clean and organized according to 5S standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams to resolve production-related issues.
Key Skills
- Knowledge of Lathe/Turning Machine Operations
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Familiarity with measuring instruments
- Understanding of machining processes and tolerances
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Basic machine troubleshooting skills
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade
- Experience in operating conventional or CNC turning machines (as required by the company)
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
