Product Consultant – OEM Engagement

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Product Consultant to act as the primary interface between our organization and OEM customers & strategic CAT A .
The role requires strong product understanding, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to translate customer requirements into executable product roadmaps while ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical knowledge, product management skills, project coordination experience, and customer-facing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
OEM Relationship Management
- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned OEM & CAT A customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Operations, and Management teams.
- Conduct regular review meetings and prepare MOMs, action trackers, and project updates.
- Coordinate customer visits, product demonstrations, and solution discussions.
Requirement Gathering & Product Consulting
- Understand customer business processes and operational challenges.
- Gather, analyze, document, and prioritize functional and technical requirements.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Solution Documents, Scope Documents, and Change Requests.
- Recommend product improvements and best-fit solutions aligned with customer needs.
Product Coordination
- Coordinate with Product Management, Development, Hardware, Firmware, QA, and Support teams.
- Track feature development from requirement to production release.
- Ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
- Manage feature prioritization and release planning.
Project Management
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Drive cross-functional coordination for OEM / CAT A projects.
- Maintain project dashboards and status reports.
- Escalate critical issues proactively.
Validation & Acceptance
- Coordinate Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Prepare test cases and customer acceptance criteria.
- Validate feature completion before customer delivery.
- Support UAT and production rollout.
Documentation
Prepare and maintain:
- Requirement Documents
- Product Specifications
- Gap Analysis
- Feature Lists
- Release Notes
- User Manuals
- Meeting Minutes
- Action Item Trackers
- Customer Issue Logs
Customer Success
- Monitor customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate issue resolution with internal teams.
- Ensure timely closure of customer action items.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and additional feature adoption.

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ECE / EEE / Mechanical / Instrumentation / Computer Science) or equivalent.
- MBA (Marketing / Operations / Product Management) is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
