Position Summary
The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining operational, transport, and accounting data in the company's systems. The candidate should possess excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle large volumes of data while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter transport-related data accurately into software and Excel spreadsheets.
- Prepare and update truck movement records, challans, permits, DDM entries, invoices, and dispatch details.
- Maintain daily records of loading, unloading, and vehicle movements.
- Verify data received from Operations, Accounts, and Dock Departments before entry.
- Scan, organize, and maintain digital and physical records of documents.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
- Coordinate with Operations, Accounts, and Documentation teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain proper filing of transport documents and customer records.
- Identify and correct data discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of company information.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Secondary (10+2) or Graduate in any discipline.
- Commerce graduates (B.Com) will be given preference.
- Freshers may apply; experienced candidates are preferred.
Required Skills
- Good typing speed with high accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of Tally ERP/TallyPrime will be an added advantage.
- Basic computer operating skills.
- Ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Strong numerical aptitude.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in Data Entry, Logistics, Transport, or Office Administration.
- Experience in the transport or logistics industry will be preferred.
Working Hours
- As per company policy and operational requirements.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak business operations, if required.

- Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, skills, and experience.
