- Conduct initial assessment of patients admitted to the ward.
- Take patient history, perform physical examination, and document findings.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, clinical condition, and treatment progress.
- Carry out consultant instructions and ensure timely implementation of treatment plans.
- Review investigation reports and escalate abnormal findings to the concerned consultant.
- Attend to patient complaints and clinical concerns promptly.
- Identify any deterioration in the patient's condition and immediately inform the treating consultant.
- Attend to medical emergencies in the ward and initiate appropriate emergency management.
- Perform/assist with procedures as per competency and hospital protocols.
- Ensure timely administration of medications, IV fluids, injections, and other prescribed treatments.
