Job Title: Assistant Teacher
Job Summary
The Assistant Teacher supports the lead teacher in creating a positive, engaging, and well-organized learning environment. The role involves assisting with classroom activities, supporting students’ academic and personal development, maintaining classroom discipline, and helping with day-to-day teaching responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering classroom lessons and activities.
- Support students individually and in small groups with their learning needs.
- Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, displays, and classroom resources.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Monitor student behavior and encourage positive classroom participation.
- Provide additional support to students who require extra academic assistance.
- Assist with assessments, homework, assignments, and maintaining student records.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, field trips, and other school events.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff when required.
- Encourage students' social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, and safeguarding procedures.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities.
- Perform other teaching and administrative duties assigned by the school management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant teaching qualification preferred.
- Previous experience working with children or in a classroom environment is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of basic teaching and learning practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
- Basic computer and classroom technology skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
