About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our Avadhoot travel operations team. The candidate will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, coordinating daily travel operations, maintaining operational records, and preparing regular reports.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be comfortable handling multiple tasks, and have a strong understanding of customer service and day-to-day travel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming enquiry calls, WhatsApp messages, and customer requests related to intercity travel.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate travel options, schedules, fares, and other relevant information.
- Convert enquiries into bookings and follow up with potential customers.
- Monitor and coordinate daily intercity travel operations to ensure smooth and timely execution.
- Coordinate with drivers, vendors, operations staff, and other internal teams as required.
- Track daily bookings, cancellations, changes, customer requirements, and operational issues.
- Ensure all travel-related information is accurately updated in the company's systems or records.
- Identify and resolve customer or operational issues promptly.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good customer-handling and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable handling multiple calls and enquiries on a daily basis.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and basic reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple teams.
- Good follow-up skills and a sales-oriented approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to work according to travel operations schedules, including weekends or holidays when required.
- Previous experience in a travel agency, tour operator, transportation company, hotel, airline, or customer-service environment will be an advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is energetic, responsible, organized, and comfortable speaking with customers. The candidate should enjoy working in a fast-paced travel environment and be willing to take ownership of both customer enquiries and day-to-day operations.
Salary: ₹15,000 - 20,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
