Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Teach Science to primary classes (Grades 1 to 5) using engaging, age-appropriate methods.
Activity-Based Learning: Design and conduct simple hands-on experiments, science lab activities, and projects to make learning fun and experiential.
Lesson Planning: Create structured, creative lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum ([CBSE / ICSE / State Board]).
Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress through regular worksheets, assignments, and periodic tests. Maintain accurate academic records.
Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined, safe, and positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and active participation.
Parent Communication: Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and share constructive feedback regarding student growth and behavior.
School Events: Actively participate and assist in organizing school events, science exhibitions, and co-curricular activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Graduate in Science (B.Sc. in Medical/Non-Medical) is required. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. is highly preferred.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with smart boards, MS Office, and online teaching tools/apps.
Soft Skills: Patient, creative, energetic, and possesses a genuine love for working with young children.
