Job Designation: Placement Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for managing and executing all placement-related activities, building strong industry connections, and facilitating career opportunities for students. The role requires effective coordination with students, faculty, and corporate partners to ensure successful placement outcomes and enhance the institute’s industry interface.
Coordinate and manage end-to-end placement processes including internships and final placements.
Liaise with corporate organizations to identify employment opportunities and build long-term relationships.
Organize and facilitate campus recruitment drives, interviews, and selection processes.
Work closely with students and faculty-in-charge to ensure smooth execution of placement activities.
Identify students’ employment interests and guide them on career planning.
Represent the institution at professional forums, industry events, and career-related platforms.
Maintain and update placement databases, records, and reports.
Collaborate with student committees to prepare placement brochures and related materials.
Facilitate lateral and final placements.
Develop industry interface by visiting companies and organizing training programs, CEO series, corporate projects, and industry visits.
Educational Qualifications
Professional Certifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in coordination, handling, organizing, and conducting activities related to placements or similar profiles.
Preference will be given to candidates with placement experience in educational institutions and/or the service sector.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent coordination and organizational abilities.
Ability to build and maintain corporate relationships.
Proficiency in database management and reporting.
Strong networking and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Good understanding of placement processes and industry requirements.
