ob Title: Rigger
Job Summary:
A Rigger is responsible for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy equipment and materials using cranes, hoists, and rigging gear. The role focuses on safe load handling, proper use of lifting equipment, and coordination with crane operators and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and select appropriate rigging equipment (slings, chains, ropes, shackles)
Attach loads securely using correct rigging methods
Guide crane operators during lifting and positioning of loads
Calculate load weight and determine safe lifting capacity
Ensure proper balance and stability of loads during lifting
Conduct pre-use inspection of rigging gear and report defects
Follow hand signals or radio communication for safe operations
Maintain rigging tools and equipment
Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
Assist in loading, unloading, and shifting heavy materials
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of rigging techniques and lifting equipment
Ability to understand load charts and weight calculations
Familiarity with hand signals used in crane operations
Strong awareness of safety practices and hazard identification
Good physical strength and coordination
Ability to work as part of a team in high-risk environments
Education & Experience:
ITI or certification in rigging/lifting operations (preferred)
1–3 years of experience as a rigger or in construction/industrial work
Work Environment:
Construction sites, shipyards, factories, or oil & gas projects
Work at heights and in outdoor conditions
Exposure to heavy loads, noise, and moving machinery
Requires use of PPE such as helmet, gloves, safety harness, and shoes

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
