We are seeking an experienced Supply Planning professional to join our Supply Chain Management team. The role is responsible for supplier scheduling, direct material procurement, inventory management, forecasting, logistics coordination, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability to support production requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in supply planning, supplier management, procurement, inventory optimization, and manufacturing supply chain operations.
Release monthly production schedules to suppliers based on sales and production plans.
Prepare and analyze 15-month forecasts and communicate requirements to suppliers.
Manage weekly and monthly firm schedules and forecast releases.
Monitor supplier performance, capacity, and supply commitments.
Ensure continuous material availability to support production requirements.
Review and manage daily shortages for production and spare parts requirements.
Manage direct material procurement from domestic suppliers.
Control inventory levels in line with inventory turnover targets.
Update MRP data and ensure implementation of the latest purchase orders and part numbers.
Monitor planned versus actual supplier deliveries and drive corrective actions where required.
Ensure timely closure of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
Arrange and ensure availability of IMCs and chemicals required for operations.
Manage freight budgets, accruals, service bill submissions, and freight optimization initiatives.
Coordinate Goods-in-Transit (GIT) declarations.
Support implementation and sustainability of key logistics systems and standards:
AS051 - Supplier Performance Assessment
AS244 - Transport Label Implementation
AS246 - Logistics Integration System (LIS)
AS247 - Long-Term Supplier Forecasting
Web EDI Implementation
Participate in supplier audits for new project assessments and development activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, training programs, and cross-functional projects.
Participate in quarterly and annual physical inventory exercises.
Prepare and maintain procurement MIS reports, including:
Maintain 5S standards within the assigned area.
Act as the SCM representative for plant-level initiatives and projects.
Support VEVA and packaging cost optimization projects.
Collaborate with production, quality, logistics, and procurement teams to drive operational excellence.

Preferred Qualification
8-10 years of experience in Supply Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Operations within a manufacturing environment.
