Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of solvent-based / solventless lamination machines.
- Plan and execute production as per daily/weekly production schedules.
- Set machine parameters such as adhesive ratio, coating weight, temperature, tension, speed, and curing conditions.
- Monitor lamination quality, bond strength, appearance, wrinkles, bubbles, delamination, and other defects.
- Ensure correct mixing, handling, and application of adhesives as per specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments.
- Maintain proper production records, machine parameters, wastage, and downtime reports.
- Control raw-material consumption and minimize production wastage.
- Ensure proper curing and ageing of laminated rolls before further processing.
- Troubleshoot lamination-related production and quality issues.
- Ensure machines, tools, and work areas are maintained in clean and safe condition.
- Train and supervise operators and helpers to achieve production and quality targets.
- Follow company SOPs, GMP, 5S, safety, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and packaging quality requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / ITI in Mechanical, Production, Printing Technology, or relevant field.
- Experience: 5–12 years in flexible packaging, preferably in lamination production.
- Hands-on experience with solvent-based and/or solventless laminators.
Benefits & Relocation Package
The company will provide the following benefits to the selected candidate:
- Total Relocation Allowance: USD 500 per month, as an estimated relocation support amount provided by the company.
- Food Allowance: USD 250 per month.
- Rent/Accommodation Allowance: USD 250 per month. The candidate's eligible rent/accommodation expenses will be covered by the company.
- Employment Type: Permanent Role.
- Job Location: Tema, Ghana, Africa.
- Air Ticket: The company will bear the cost of the candidate's air ticket for travel/joining to Ghana
