Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Management & Governance Consultant to lead enterprise-wide data governance initiatives and help organizations establish robust data management frameworks aligned with business objectives and national data policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data governance, data quality, metadata management, compliance, and enterprise data strategy.
This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership to define governance standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve overall data reliability, security, and accessibility across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards
- Define and establish data management strategies aligned with organizational and national governance requirements
- Drive initiatives related to data quality, metadata management, master data management (MDM), and data lifecycle governance
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify data governance gaps and implement corrective measures
- Develop governance operating models, stewardship processes, and data ownership structures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards related to enterprise data management
- Define data classification, retention, privacy, and access management policies
- Conduct data maturity assessments and recommend governance improvements
- Support implementation of data governance tools, cataloging solutions, and reporting frameworks
- Prepare governance reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations
- Mentor junior consultants and guide governance best practices across teams
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Saudi National (Mandatory)
- 5+ years of experience in Data Management and Governance
- Strong understanding of enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices
- Experience with data governance policies, standards, and compliance initiatives
