We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our Engineering & Maintenance team in an API Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of production equipment and utility systems while adhering to GMP and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of API manufacturing equipment.
- Install, align, dismantle, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Maintain pumps, gearboxes, agitators, valves, pipelines, reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and utility equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and minimize equipment downtime.
- Carry out routine inspection, lubrication, and replacement of worn-out parts.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and maintenance manuals.
- Maintain maintenance logs, equipment history, and spare parts records.
- Coordinate with Production, Utility, and Engineering teams for planned maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, EHS, and plant safety guidelines.

Key Requirements
- ITI Fitter qualification is mandatory.
- 2–5 years of maintenance experience in an API Pharma or Chemical Manufacturing Plant.
- Good knowledge of rotating and static equipment.
- Hands-on experience with pumps, pipelines, valves, mechanical seals, bearings, and fabrication work.
- Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance independently.
- Knowledge of cGMP, industrial safety, and maintenance documentation.
- Basic understanding of welding, alignment, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in shifts.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
