Job Title: Indian ChefJob Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Indian Chef who can prepare authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling a variety of Indian cuisines and managing kitchen operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes (North Indian, South Indian, Tandoor, Curry, etc.)
- Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of food
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per food safety standards
- Manage kitchen inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Plan menus and suggest new dishes
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profitability
- Ensure timely food preparation and delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Team player with good communication skills
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification (preferred)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Tandoor and Curry sections
- Menu planning and cost control
- Leadership and team management
