Telecom Electrical Technician – Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Power Maintenance: Maintain AC/DC systems, electrical panels, UPS, SMPS, rectifiers, batteries and transformers.
- Telecom Power Availability: Ensure uninterrupted power supply to RSU and other telecom sites.
- DG Maintenance: Operate and maintain DG sets, AMF panels, fuel systems and conduct regular trial runs.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled PM activities, inspections, testing and checklist updates.
- Fault Restoration: Attend EB, DG and electrical breakdowns promptly and restore power within the required time.
- Electrical Safety: Follow PPE, LOTO, insulated-tool and electrical safety procedures at all times.
- Earthing & LPS: Inspect earth pits, equipment earthing, lightning protection and surge protection systems.
- Energy Management: Monitor EB/DG consumption, identify abnormal usage and support energy-saving initiatives.
- Tools & Spares: Maintain electrical tools, testing equipment, safety items and critical spares.
- Site Hygiene: Site Cleaning need to be done on weekly basis with HK Person support same need to be documented.
- Documentation: Maintain PM, breakdown, DG, battery, energy and electrical parameter records.
- Coordination: Coordinate with Telecom/O&M teams, vendors and EB/TNEB officials for maintenance and restoration.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
