Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer who can build, manage and maintain professional business websites for our clients. The ideal candidate should be able to create modern, responsive, SEO-friendly and conversion-focused websites using WordPress, themes, plugins, page builders and custom code when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive WordPress websites for businesses, service brands, D2C brands and ecommerce clients.
- Build websites using Elementor, Gutenberg, WooCommerce and other WordPress tools.
- Customize WordPress themes and templates as per brand guidelines.
- Create landing pages, service pages, blog pages, contact forms and ecommerce pages.
- Set up and manage WooCommerce stores when required.
- Ensure websites are mobile responsive, fast-loading and SEO-friendly.
- Install, configure and manage required plugins.
- Handle domain, hosting, SSL and basic server-related setup.
- Perform WordPress updates, plugin updates and theme updates.
- Fix bugs, broken layouts, form issues, plugin conflicts and website errors.
- Optimize website speed, images and overall performance.
- Maintain website security, backups and malware checks.
- Integrate Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Pixel and other tracking tools.
- Coordinate with designers, content writers and digital marketing teams.
- Make regular website changes such as banners, text updates, pricing changes and service updates.
- Create clean, professional and premium-looking websites aligned with client branding.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Experience with Elementor / Elementor Pro.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
- Understanding of responsive website design.
- Knowledge of website speed optimization.
- Basic SEO understanding.
- Experience with contact forms, payment gateway setup and plugin configuration.
- Ability to troubleshoot WordPress errors and plugin conflicts.
- Understanding of domain, hosting, SSL and email setup.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console and Meta Pixel integration.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms.
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
- Ability to create landing pages for lead generation and ads.
- Experience with Hostinger, GoDaddy, cPanel or hPanel.
- Basic graphic editing knowledge using Canva, Photoshop or similar tools.
- Understanding of digital marketing agency workflows.
Experience
Minimum 1–3 years of WordPress website development experience preferred.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be technically strong, creative, detail-oriented and able to deliver premium-looking websites on time. They should understand both design and functionality, and should be comfortable working on multiple client websites.
Portfolio Requirement
Candidates must share previous WordPress website work, ecommerce website examples or landing page samples.
Pay: ₹11,097.63 - ₹30,000.00 per month
