- Child Care & Emotional Support
- Act as a primary caregiver and emotional anchor for young learners.
Teaching & Learning
- Teach all core subjects as per age-appropriate curriculum.
- Use play-based, activity-oriented, and experiential learning methods.
- Develop basic skills in:
- Language development (phonics, reading readiness, writing)
- Numeracy (numbers, basic operations)
- EVS and general awareness
- Encourage creativity through art, craft, music, rhyme, and storytelling.
Classroom & Routine Management
- Maintain classroom discipline with love, patience, and positivity.
- Establish daily routines including circle time, activity time, and reflection.
- Support children during transitions, meals, and hygiene routines.
Assessment & Documentation
- Observe, assess, and record students’ progress regularly.
- Maintain portfolios, worksheets, and assessment records.
- Provide constructive feedback and plan remedial activities when required.
Parent Communication
- Maintain regular and positive communication with parents.
- Share child progress, behaviour observations, and developmental milestones.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and orientation programs.
Health, Safety & Well-Being
- Ensure students’ safety at all times within school premises.
- Identify and report health, emotional, or behavioural concerns.
- Promote good habits, values, and social etiquette among children.
Collaboration & School Activities
- Work collaboratively with co-teachers, assistants, and coordinators.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and training programs.
- Support school policies, values, and early childhood education initiatives.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Understand individual child needs and support their social and emotional development.
