About the Role
Kaigo Home Health Care is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to support our growing diagnostic services. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy patient interaction and have strong phlebotomy skills. The selected candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from walk-in patients at our laboratory and performing home sample collection across Thiruvananthapuram while maintaining high standards of patient care and specimen quality.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients visiting the laboratory.
- Perform home blood sample collection as per scheduled appointments.
- Verify patient details before collecting specimens.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and transportation of samples.
- Maintain accurate collection records and documentation.
- Follow standard infection control and biomedical waste disposal protocols.
- Keep the sample collection area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Coordinate with the laboratory team to ensure timely sample processing.
- Deliver a professional and compassionate experience to every patient.
- Adhere to company policies and quality standards.
Candidate Requirements
- DMLT / B.Sc MLT or equivalent qualification.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in phlebotomy or diagnostic laboratories is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily sample collection schedules.
- Willingness to travel for home sample collection.
