Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to brand standard (consistency, presentation, timing)
Maintain and clean espresso machine, grinder, and other equipment
Manage stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables; flag reorder needs
Follow recipe specs and portion control
Greet and seat guests, take orders accurately, and relay them to kitchen/bar
Serve food and beverages promptly, checking for quality and presentation before service
Handle guest queries, special requests, and basic complaint resolution (escalate as needed)
Upsell menu items where appropriate
Operate POS/billing system accurately
Handle cash, card, and UPI payments; reconcile cash drawer at shift start/end
Maintain personal hygiene per FSSAI standards (uniform, grooming, handwashing protocol)
Keep counter, service stations, and equipment clean and sanitized
Follow food safety basics: no cross-contamination, correct storage temps for milk/perishables
Report any hygiene/safety violations or equipment issues immediately
Requirements
1–2 years experience as barista, server, or F&B associate (hospitality/QSR/café background preferred)
Basic math for cash handling and billing accuracy
Familiarity with POS systems (Petpooja preferred)
