Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Distributor Sales Manager to drive primary and secondary sales through distributors and strengthen market presence. The ideal candidate should have strong distributor management skills, team handling experience, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets in the FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop distributor business to achieve sales and distribution targets.
- Drive primary and secondary sales in the assigned territory.
- Appoint new distributors where required and ensure effective distributor ROI.
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team (Sales Team Leader/Sales Executives).
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising across retail outlets.
- Increase market coverage and numeric distribution.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with distributors to maintain inventory.
- Plan and execute market visits with the sales team.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotional schemes.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.
- Execute company trade schemes and promotional activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key retailers.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- 10-15 years of experience in FMCG sales.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the local market.
- Proficient in MS Excel and sales reporting.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel extensively.

- Salary: As per industry standards

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per month
