About the Role
Alliance Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head – Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) to lead the company's regulatory compliance and EPR operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring complete compliance with the Plastic Waste Management (PWM) Rules, CPCB/GPCB regulations and managing end-to-end EPR certificate generation, trading and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
Regulatory Compliance & Government Liaison :
- Ensure complete compliance with Plastic Waste Management (PWM) Rules and CPCB Guidelines.
- Manage registrations and operations on CPCB and GPCB portals.
- Obtain and renew statutory approvals including:
- Consent to Establish (CTE)
- Consent to Operate (CTO)
- Plastic Waste Management Registration
- Prepare and submit statutory returns, annual reports and compliance documentation.
- Represent the organization before CPCB, GPCB and other regulatory authorities.
- Monitor changes in environmental legislation and implement necessary compliance measures.
EPR Operations & Credit Management :
Lead complete lifecycle management of EPR certificate generation and trading for:
- All Plastics
- Multi Layer Plastic (MLP)
- Industrial Plastic Waste
- Textile Waste and Ocean-bound Plastic
Responsibilities include:
- EPR portal management
- Recycling certificate generation
- Certificate allocation and Certificate transfer
- Credit settlement
- Monthly target achievement
- Revenue optimization through EPR credit sales
Material Traceability & Documentation :
- Monitor complete material traceability from procurement to finished goods.
- Maintain accurate mass-balance records and audit-ready documentation.
- Verify procurement documentation.
- Validate production reports.
- Monitor dispatch documentation and EPR reconciliation.
PIBO Relationship Management :
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with: Producers , Importers , Brand Owners (PIBOs)
Internal Coordination :
Coordinate with all Department.
Audit & Risk Management :
- Lead internal and external regulatory audits.
- Prepare documentation for CPCB/GPCB inspections.
- Maintain zero non-compliance status.
- Conduct internal compliance reviews.
- Identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
Educational Qualifications & Experience :
- Master's Degree in: Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science
- Minimum 6 years of experience.
Work Location: In person
