Quality Control Executive (Textile Export)

We're a textile and home décor export house making fabric bags, totes, pouches, cosmetic boxes, jwellery pouches, cushions, weekenders, quilts, lunch bags, laptop covers, and more, for buyers across Europe and the US. We need a QC person who can run the entire quality process alone, from the first piece off the line to the final shipment check, and who actually knows embroidery, print and beadwork inside out.
What you'll do
- Handle first, middle, and final quality checks independently across every order.
- Inspect embroidery for thread tension, design accuracy, puckering, and colour matching against approved samples
- Check print work for placement, registration, colour fastness, and any bleeding or misprint issues
- Examine beaded and hand-embellished pieces for thread strength, bead placement, spacing, and finishing
- Catch stitching, seam, zipper, and hardware defects on bags, cushions, quilts, pouches and the full product range
- Apply AQL sampling and take the call on accept/reject/hold for each lot
- Create and maintain all required QC documentation: inspection reports, defect logs, shade bands, AQL reports, and pre-shipment checklists, without waiting to be told the format
- Flag recurring defects to production and sampling so the same mistake doesn't repeat order after order
- Support buyer QC visits and third-party audits when scheduled
What you need
- 4+ years in QC for textile/home décor export, with hands-on experience in embroidery, print, and beaded/embellished work specifically
- Comfortable running first, middle, and final inspection stages.
- Strong working knowledge of AQL standards and how to document a rejection properly
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Noida, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
