Counter Merchandiser

Weekly Off: 2nd & 4th Saturday Off + Sundays off
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Counter Merchandiser to manage inventory, product movement, vendor coordination, and merchandise planning for our jewellery business. The ideal candidate should have strong merchandising knowledge, inventory management skills, and the ability to work closely with sales teams to maximize product performance and profitability.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across counters and stores.
- Ensure efficient stock replenishment and inventory shuffling between locations.
- Track inventory aging and take corrective actions to improve stock movement.
- Maintain healthy stock turns and optimize inventory efficiency.
- Place FSD orders accurately and on time.
- Regularly review inventory requirements and procure products accordingly.
Product Analysis & Planning
- Analyze product performance and identify fast-moving and slow-moving categories.
- Conduct fortnightly reviews with store sales teams to gather customer and product insights.
- Monitor fill rate and match rate performance and drive initiatives for improvement.
- Support merchandise planning to achieve revenue and gross profit targets.
Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing vendors.
- Identify and onboard new vendors for recurring business opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing, wastage, and procurement terms with vendors.
- Ensure timely procurement and product availability.
Capability Building
- Conduct product knowledge and merchandising training sessions for sales teams.
- Share market trends, product insights, and best practices.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Procurement teams.
- Ensure seamless inventory flow and product availability across locations.

Qualifications
Mandatory:
Preferred:
- Graduate
- Certification in Jewellery Designing (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Jewellery Merchandising
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
