Job Summary
We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented, and ambitious CA Article Assistants to join our team for the mandatory practical training program under the ICAI guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Auditing & Assurance: Assist in conducting statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits for corporate and non-corporate entities in compliance with ICAI standards.
- Direct & Indirect Taxation: Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax returns (ITR), TDS returns, and GST returns (including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual reconciliations).
- Accounting & Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate books of accounts, perform bank reconciliations, and assist in the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss accounts).
- Corporate Compliances: Assist in corporate secretarial tasks, documentation, and filing of various ROC (Registrar of Companies) forms and returns.
- Client Coordination: Interact directly with client teams to gather financial data, resolve elementary audit queries, and maintain well-organized working paper files.
- Research & Updates: Assist in researching complex tax matters, new accounting standards, and relevant regulatory updates to support senior team members.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Educational Background: Must have passed CA Intermediate (as per current ICAI New Scheme guidelines).
- Training Prerequisites: Completion of the mandatory Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS - ITT & Orientation) before commencing articleship.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong basic understanding of accounting standards, GST laws, and the Income Tax Act.
- Software Proficiency: Practical familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, and accounting software (like Tally or Zoho Books) is highly advantageous.
