We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to take charge of our daily financial operations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Accounting & Data Entry: Accurately record and maintain all purchase entries and pass monthly accounting journal entries to ensure books are up-to-date.
Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations and comprehensive ledger reconciliations to maintain absolute financial accuracy.
Accounts Receivable & Recoveries: Directly manage payment follow-ups and ledger reconciliations for all critical and major parties.
Secure periodic balance confirmations from major clients.
Supervise the dedicated outstanding recovery staff member, reviewing their regular reports and guiding their collection efforts.
Ensure routine payment reminders and ledgers are sent to general customers promptly via WhatsApp and email.
Statutory Compliance: Take full ownership of all GST, Professional Tax (PT), and TDS filings, ensuring 100% on-time compliance.
Consultant Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact and coordinate seamlessly with our external CA/financial consultant for audits and advanced tax matters.
Candidate Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or related financial field.
Experience: Proven experience working as an accountant, preferably within a trading, distribution, or wholesale business environment.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in an accounting ERP(preferably BUSY) and Microsoft Excel.
Soft Skills: Strong, professional communication skills (written and verbal) for effective client follow-ups and internal team coordination. Must be highly organized and capable of meeting strict compliance deadlines.
