We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Banking Product Application Support professional to provide functional and technical support for banking applications and product platforms. The role is responsible for monitoring application performance, trou

Responsibilities

The Application Support professional will:
- Provide day-to-day support for banking product applications and related systems
- Monitor application availability, performance, batch jobs, interfaces, and transaction processing
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents, defects, and user-reported issues
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring production issues and recommend preventive actions
- Work closely with business users, product teams, developers, QA, infrastructure, and vendors to resolve issues
- Handle production support activities including incident management, problem management, service requests, and change support
- Validate application fixes, patches, and releases before and after deployment
- Support system upgrades, release rollouts, and maintenance activities
- Maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, SOPs, and issue logs
- Escalate critical incidents within agreed SLAs and ensure timely communication to stakeholders
- Participate in UAT, post-release validation, and production health checks
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, security standards, and banking regulations

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field
- Understanding of application support, production support, or banking systems support
- Familiarity with SQL for data validation, issue analysis, and reporting
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a production environment
Technical Skills
