Job Title: QC Engineer
Department: QA/QC – Construction
Reports To: Project Manager / QA Head
Job Purpose
Ensure adherence to quality standards across construction activities by implementing QA/QC procedures and maintaining proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect ongoing construction work for quality compliance
- Conduct material testing and approval process
- Monitor RCC works, finishing works, and structural activities
- Maintain quality checklists and inspection reports
- Ensure compliance with approved method statements
- Coordinate with consultants and site team
- Verify incoming materials and maintain records
- Conduct cube casting and test monitoring
- Raise NCRs for quality deviations
- Maintain QA/QC documentation and registers
- Assist in internal and external quality audits
- Monitor subcontractor work quality
Qualifications
- B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience
- 3–6 years in residential / commercial construction
- High-rise building experience preferred
Key Competencies
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures
- Documentation and reporting
- Material testing knowledge
- Coordination with site team
- Quality inspection skills
