Responsibilities:
- Teach a range of commerce courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, etc.)
- Develop and lead new courses in area of expertise
- Conduct original research and publish in reputable commerce journals
- Mentor graduate and Post graduate students (MCom and PhD)
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and events
- Contribute to curriculum development and program assessment
- Engage in service activities for the department, university, and professional community
Requirements:
- PhD / NET/SLET (MBA / M.com) in Commerce & Business Management or related field (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, etc.)
- Strong research background and potential for publication
- Excellent teaching and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse students and colleagues
- Commitment to departmental service and outreach
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postdoctoral experience or equivalent
- Research expertise in specific area of commerce, e.g., Financial Accounting, Strategic Management, Marketing etc.
- Experience with curriculum development and program assessment
- Strong record of publication and presentation
